Guy's Hilariously Wrong Answer on Wheel of Fortune
Andrew Cunningham Published 08/25/2022
Wheel of Fortune has been a staple of American television since it first aired in 1975. The show was created by Merv Griffin and is basically a variation of 'hangman' where players guess letters in an attempt to solve a puzzle to win cash and prizes determined by spinning a giant carnival wheel. Pat Sajak and Vannah White have been hosting the show's current format in it's nightly syndication since it premiered on September 19th, 1983. Wheel of Fortune ranks as the longest-running syndicated game show in the United States, with 7,000 episodes taped and aired as of May 10, 2019.
Similar to shows like Family Feud, the show has had its fair share of funny bloopers, hilariously wrong answers, and even some controversy around certain episodes with one contestant accused of cheating and another contestant believed to have been cheated out of winning with a correct answer.
In this funny clip / blooper, the phrase is "Bitcoin is the Future" but this contestant butchers the phrase with his slightly NSFW answer.
