Good Samaritan Jumps Into Police Chase and Brings it to an End

The driver of the fleeing car was a suspect in a shooting case / incident. The chase was low-speed as the driver thought he could lose the cops going 30 miles per hour. I'm not sure I'd want to risk denting my truck (well, I don't have a truck) but you know what I mean.
Dallas Police were in purist of the suspect believed to be involved in a recent shooting. The suspect led officers on a low-speed chase, weaving in and out of traffic with no regard for fellow drivers' safety. After the driver of the blue pickup truck intervenes, the police quickly move in with guns drawn and surround the vehicle, instructing the driver to give up, which he finally does.
