French Parliament Refuses to Shake Hands with Opposing Party, Hits ‘Em with the Rock, Paper, Scissors Instead

The French take their politics seriously. Whereas we might protest against something by standing around the Capitol building with lawn signs, if you tell a French person they’ve got to work on the weekend, you’re going to wake up with your neighborhood burned to the ground.
Recently, France had an election. Now, those members of Parliament are showing just how committed they are by refusing to shake hands with the opposition — and in some cases, using their open hands to play an impromptu game of rock, paper, scissors instead.
