Florida Deputies Borrow Family's Boat to Arrest Jet Ski Thief
Featured 06/18/2022
Earlier this week in typical "Florida Man" style, a man was arrested by police after he tried to steal a jet ski. The man floated out from the docks but was struggling to actually get the jet ski to turn on, leaving him an easy target for law enforcement to find and arrest. There was only one problem for the police however, they didn't have a boat nearby to go apprehend the suspect.
Police made their way to a dock and saw a nearby family was preparing for some water-time leisure. The deputies asked the family if they could hitch a ride with them to go find the jetski suspect. It didn't take them long before they spotted the man floating on the non-running jetski. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and the jet ski was returned to its proper owners.
