Fishing Tournament Ends In Chaos As Cheaters are Caught Weighting Their Fish

Move over chess world, we've got tournament fishing cheaters!
A scandal is rocking the Lake Erie Walleye Trail contest after two fishermen were caught putting weights in fish over the weekend. Teammates Jacob Runyan and Chase Cominsky weighed in five fish at a collective total of 34 lbs. This would've won them the tournament, including $30k in prize money.
As the video reveals, the two men had stuffed their fish not only with multiple weights, but also with walleye filets. Other competitors called for the pair's arrest, as they had taken home more than $100k after winning the 2021 tournament.
There has been no word on if the competitors will face legal action. But allegedly this isn't the first shady practice by Runyan and Cominksy. Other tournament goers had claimed that the team refused to donate their catches to local food banks, when other teams had.
Needless to say some fishy sh*t is going on in Ohio.
