Protective Family Dog Saves Child From Neighbor's Loose Dog

Letting your kids play in the front or back yard is a common occurrence for most parents. Typically you are worried about them getting too close to the road or stranger danger, but sometimes animals prove to be the real nuisance.  

This six-year-old kid runs into his front yard with the family's German Sheppard just having a good time, when a neighbor's dog gets out of the yard and bolts straight at the youngster in what could have been an ugly attack. Fortunately, the German Sheppard knocks the kid down and out of harm's way and goes toe to toe with the other dog before it runs off.
