And people say these things are dangerous.

Over the past few years, there’s been a lot of hullabaloo about gas stoves. I haven’t been following it, and I don’t care.

However, some people are very passionate about it. These people will argue that gas stoves are dangerous and unnecessary. As evidence for their claims, they’ll point to induction stoves and say that they’re better than the gas-guzzling alternative, or note that gas stove use has been linked to asthma. This, they say, should be enough to convince someone not to pump gas directly into their home.

Now, like many people, I live in an apartment, which means the decision of what stove I’m going to use has already been made by my landlord (he went for gas). So far, it’s never been an issue. Some other people, however, like the person shown in this video, aren’t so lucky.
