Facebook’s New Glasses Can Instantly Doxx People the Second You Look at Them

Facebook — or, uh, “Meta” — recently released yet another collection of its “smart glasses” collaboration with Ray-Ban.
The glasses, which hover around $300, allow wearers to take pictures, listen to music, and, oh yeah, doxx everyone they come into contact with. Whoops.
While the glasses aren’t supposed to be able to do this out of the box, several students at Harvard realized that they could hack the frames to allow them to use A.I. to monitor every face with whom it came into contact. Once a face had been found, it would search the internet for that face, then feed the information back to the wearer.
I don’t know about you, but I feel great about the future!
