Everyone Is Trying to Leave Florida Right Now, and It’s Not Going Great
As we keep trying to tell you, if you’re in southern Florida, you should leave. If you don’t, I hate to say it, but you’re probably not long for this world.
Fortunately, it seems like people are actually doing this. Unfortunately, Florida’s infrastructure really isn’t conducive to having a lot of people leave all at once. Florida is more for “long drives along the beach” — not really a place for “GTFO ASAP.”
That said, people need to do it, and so, they're driving trucks through town telling everyone to leave. Once these people do, however, they're being hit with totally stalled traffic for miles. Pretty scary stuff!
Just so you know. It's like this everywhere. On I-75, 441, I-4, and I-95.

We only have a few options to leave out of Florida.
I wouldn't want to be stuck there, out of gas, when a category 5 hits. Have some compassion for Florida. pic.twitter.com/a52xfSbu6H
