Roller skates fell out of fashion in the late ‘90s and early aughts, mainly because every hack comedian decided to make roller skates = gay a staple part of their tight five.

Well, it wasn’t *just* that. People also realized that roller skates are pretty inconvenient — who wants to carry their shoes around with them everywhere they skate to?

But since roller skates left the popular imagination, we’ve all been waiting for something to come and fill the gap that they left. This guy’s luggage invention isn’t going to do that, but at least it looks pretty cool.
