Dude Makes Backyard Machine That Turns Plastic Into Oil

Uh, did this guy just figure out the infinite energy glitch?

As the world has become more dependant on plastic, we’ve come to a pretty shocking and stupid realization: Once the plastic has been used, there’s really not much we can do with it.

Sure, a lot of plastic is marked as “recyclable,” but the process for recycling plastic is still pretty bad, and most of what you throw in the recycling bin ends up in a landfill anyway.

So, what’s an eco-conscious fella like yourself to do? How about create a plastic pyrolysis machine in your backyard?

This guy claims to have been able to figure out a way to turn plastic into fuel. While this practice isn’t unheard of, you don’t often find someone setting up the facilities to do it in their backyard.

Hell, why don’t we all have one of these?
