Dude Exposes $300k+ Houses for Being Made Out of Literal Cardboard
Houses these days aren’t made like they used to be. If you’ve ever had roommates with anger issues, you can quantify how true this is by counting the holes they’ve punched in the wall.
That’s because back in the day, houses used to be made with whatever was around, which generally meant solid bricks and old growth timber. However, as the need for housing increased, so too did the need for cheaper materials — resulting in us building houses that need to be replaced every generation or two unless you want to have your roof cave in the second there’s bad weather.
Still, the discovery this guy made on new housing is pretty shocking. While it’s not *exactly* cardboard, the fact that the siding of the exterior walls is so thin really isn’t encouraging.
