Highway Looks Crushed by the Fist of God Himself
Featured 06/07/2022
A road in Quebec was destroyed by a landslide back in 2009, leaving behind what looks like a scene out of a video game or film about the apocalypse.
The road itself, or rather what's left of it, once stretched around a local asbestos mine with a community right nearby. According to local residents, old folks who once lived there -- before it was moved -- said they'd have to sweep the asbestos off their porches after a blast at the mine.
Nowadays, the stretch of dystopian roadway is used mostly by dirtbikers and people looking to have fun outside the nearby town. An interesting piece of land that feels older than it really is. And a testament to the willingness of Mother Nature to hulk smash on a moment's notice.

Here's the full video for those interested that shows more of the surrounding area and the more widespread destruction.
