Delivery Robot Gets Rinsed by Oncoming Car

There was once a time where, if you wanted anything but pizza, you had to actually lift your ass off of your computer chair and head to the store. Now, we have meal delivery apps, where you can order a taxi for your food (while the person driving that taxi makes less than $1.50 an hour after expenses).

However, the owners of those meal delivery apps think that even that <$1.50 payment is slightly more than what they’re comfortable with. That’s why some markets have been rolling out — literally — delivery robots, which are (allegedly) autonomous devices that will take your order from a restaurant to your home.

These things work pretty well — that is, until they get hit by a car.
