Cybertruck Driver Says Accelerator Got Stuck Due to Loose Pedal Grips

Tesla announced yesterday that production of the now famous Cybertruck would be halted for seven days to address an issue with the accelerator pedal. 

This news comes at the same time as a video of a man on TikTok detailing how his pedal grip came loose and lodged itself under his floorboard, pinning his pedal to the floor. 

Thankfully the driver wasn't hurt. He was able to override the accelerator pedal with the brake and put the car in park, but one could imagine how an issue like this would be dangerous if someone were moving at high speeds.
