Crashing Airplane Becomes Massive Fireball
Braden Bjella Published 07/28/2024
On Wednesday, July 24th, a Bombardier CRJ200 operated by Nepalese carrier Saurya Airlines crashed while taking off from Kathmandu airport.
At the time of writing, it’s unclear what caused the plane to veer hard to the right after takeoff. “Eyewitnesses reported that the aircraft suddenly flipped, causing the wing tip to hit the ground. This led to an immediate fire, and the aircraft then plunged into a gorge on the eastern side of the runway, between the Buddha Air hangar and the radar station,” reads a piece in Airways Magazine.
Now, video has emerged of the crash actually happening.
