Congressman Stops Protestor by Starting Impromptu Auction for her Soul
Braden Bjella Published 07/09/2024
There are a few ways to tactfully deal with protestors. For example, you could hear them out, or you could politely ask that security escort them from the premises. Or, if you’re auctioneer-turned-congressman Rep. Billy Long (R-MO), you could launch into an auction for attendees, presumably to place a bid on the protestor’s soul. Long did this as the protester complained about how she was banned on social media—sorry, looks like you’re getting banned in real life, too!
