Chinese City Has Live Streamer Infestation, Rendering Daily Life Impossible

As anyone who’s visited Twitch can tell you, the idea of making a lot of money by doing nothing more than talking to a camera has a lot of people trying to turn their lives into content. This isn’t unique to the West — in fact, China has a lot of live streamers. Like, too many live streamers. Like, so many live streamers that they’ve started to camp out in wealthy neighborhoods, doing dances and wearing costumes to try to get tips from whoever happens to be watching. The results can be pretty depressing, as this video shows.
