Unfortunately for those of us who abide by the law of the land, having to deal with crime and criminals is just a part of everyday life. Most of us are fortunate enough to not be directly involved, but every so often a person might find themselves right smack dab in the middle of a crime or criminal incident as it unfolds. In the modern-day, most people don't intervene or help but instead pull out their phones like mindless zombies and record. There are, however, a few among us who do step in to lend a lend and ensure the safety of their fellow citizens.
A Chicago man with years of experience in self-defense took matters into his own hands when another man allegedly punched a 7-Eleven employee on the North Side. He quickly subdued the alleged thief and held him for over 8 minutes, pinned to the ground, until police arrived and took the man into custody.
