Cessna Gets Caught In Helicopter Wake Turbulence Crashes and Does a Cartwheel

In a scary video released by the Aviation Safety Network, a Cessna 120 pilot lost control during a go-around as it encountered wake turbulence from a slow hover taxiing helicopter. Helicopter wake turbulence can last up to two minutes after a helicopter passes by an area and can create a dangerous situation for smaller aircraft in the immediate vicinity.

The Cessna smashes down into the runway doing a cartwheel before sliding off the runway towards the hangars. The pilot survived the incident with minor injuries.
