Car Dealership Pretends to Sell Car to Identity Thief, Then Arrests Him

This man’s day just went from great to terrible.
If you’re going to steal someone’s identity, I’d imagine you want to stick to low-level crimes before trying to use the stolen info on something big. Once you’ve gotten comfortable with that, you can then move onto the bigger items — of course, taking the necessary precautions to prevent yourself from getting caught.
What you might *not* want to do is try to buy a car in person. This guy tried it, and while he thought it was going great at first, it all ends with his wrists in handcuffs.
All that for a Kia? Haven’t you heard you can hijack those things with a USB cable?
