Camera Recording Fire Accidentally Films Its Own Demise

RIP to a real one.
California is currently experiencing what experts are calling the Airport Fire, named due to the fact that the fire started near a remote-controlled airplane airport. Since its start on Monday, the blaze has grown from 5,400 acres to 9,333 acres, with little containment achieved.
This camera was set up to monitor Santiago Peak, an area currently impacted by the fire. And monitor it did — all the way until it was burned to a crisp.
A webcam captured its own demise as it recorded a timelapse of the rapidly spreading Airport Fire engulfing a weather station. pic.twitter.com/QgBGMdUVFx
