Nature can get pretty hectic. While we might think our lives are crazy, most of us can at least go through our day without worrying about a bull goring us. The same can’t be said about animals out in the wild — bet you’re pretty glad we left our monkey days behind us, huh?

The insanity of nature can be seen not only in how animals attack each other, but in how those same animals defend each other from attacks. For example, this buffalo was being attacked by a lion — and so, another buffalo showed up and decided to show it who was boss.
