In case you live under a rock, the USA made a deal with Russia trading WNBA star, Brittney Griner for Russian arms dealer, Viktor Bout.
After 10 months in Russia, Griner was finally freed. In exchange, convicted arms dealer Viktor Bout (also known as the merchant of death) goes back to Russia. He was serving a 25-year prison sentence here in the states.
Like something out of Bond film, the two pieces of the trade met on an airport tarmac and after exchanging a few pleasantries, went their separate ways. Surreal would be an understatement.
