Brendan Fraser Deservedly Receives 6-Minute Standing Ovation

Too wholesome. Brendan Fraser is all the way back!
The actor received a 6-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival. This after the screening of his newest film, 'The Whale.'
In the film, Fraser portrays a gay, overweight English teacher who is confined to a wheelchair. Some really dark content for a dude from my childhood who starred in movies like 'The Mummy' and 'Bedazzled.' But we're totally here for this comeback. And there's no person more deserving.
Fraser has come back into the spotlight a bit with this film. He's also been making the rounds at comic-con and signings recently, after what seemed like an eternity of him being away. The actor was regularly working, but seemingly fell under the radar for quite some time.
His performance already has him in the front-running for the Academy Awards. And we couldn't be happier or more excited for Brendan and this film.
