Is there something wrong with Bali that I don’t know about?

Some parents just can’t stand the idea of their kid having fun. These parents are usually either narcissists, British or both.

Why are they like this? I don’t know; it’s a question I myself have asked about the British for years. But the fact of the matter is, they are, and when they’re confronted with the idea that their child might be doing something without them — or even something enjoyable — they don’t always handle it well.

For example, this kid told their family they were going to Bali, and for some reason, they reacted as though she said she was going to war.
