Birds Land on Power Line, Then Explode

Birds are like us in the way that they love doing things that are bad for them. While that may be drinking and smoking for humans, for birds, the naughty activity that they just can’t avoid is sitting on power lines.

While this is mostly harmless (the lines are shielded), if you throw too many birds onto a line, there’s a chance that the thing could snap — knocking out power in the neighborhood and turning some of the flock into a Boston Market family meal.

That’s exactly what happened here. If you’re impatient, you can go ahead and skip to 2:30, but I like watching the whole thing to feel the tension build. It’s almost electric!
