Bio Lab Fire Creates Airborne Toxic Event in Georgia

I think it’s fair to say the world is ending.

During a week that already has already seen incredible hurricane destruction and weird, massive fish drifting onto our country’s shores, you probably thought that things couldn’t get any worse. Well, now it has!

According to the Associated Press, a BioLab plant in Conyers, Georgia caught fire earlier today due to a failure in the plant’s sprinkler system. The failure, writes the AP, “caused water to mix with a water-reactive chemical, producing a plume of chemicals” — and now, that plume is headed toward the lungs of around 90,000 Georgia residents.

Some of the explosion and its aftermath was caught on camera, and boy, is it a strange sight.
