See How Deep The Ocean Really Is
Daniel Bonfiglio Published 10/12/2022
We all know the ocean is deep, but what does that really mean? What does that look like and feel like in comparison to our above surface level life that we know so well? This video gives us an awesome timeline style view of different oceans and famous bodies of water, and shows us how deep they are in comparison to things we know well.
In all honesty, I would have assumed that many bodies of water are deeper than they are on average. That being said, once you get into the really deep stuff, those numbers skyrocket pretty fast. The deepest part of the ocean is farther from sea level than the peak of Mount Everest after all. So be ready to be fascinated and engaged if you're a lover of the marvels of the ocean and natural world, and wowed by the scale of the planet we live on.
