Children Ages 6, 12 and 14 Are Detained Facedown In Handcuffs by Aurora PD

Video of the Sunday incident shows Brittney Gilliam being led away from the car in handcuffs, while other members of her family -- her 6-year-old daughter, 12-year-old sister and 14- and 17-year-old nieces -- are lying on their stomachs in the parking lot. The Aurora Police Department has issued an apology after video surfaced of a family laying face down in a parking lot, handcuffed behind their backs, because police thought the car was stolen.
According to 9News, "APD said a motorcycle with the same license plate number from a different state was actually the vehicle reported stolen on Sunday morning."
