Dirtbike Riding Dummy Gets Pitted by Arkansas State Police

The PIT maneuver (pursuit intervention technique) is a pursuit tactic by which a pursuing car can force a fleeing car, truck, van, or motorcycle to turn sideways abruptly, causing the driver to lose control and stop, or much more likely, crash. It was developed and first used by the Fairfax County Police Department of Virginia, in the United States. The technique is used by law enforcement officers to bring car chases to a conclusion as the longer they go on, and the higher rates of speed that occur, the greater the chance of a serious accident or even death of the suspect, officers involved, and even the general public.
In this video, a suspect who is fleeing from police on a dirtbike can be seen trying his best to evade law enforcement. He makes several quick turns, attempts to cut through a neighborhood, and is very careless in his attempt to escape. An Arkansas State Trooper finally gets the chance to catch up to him and gives his dirtbike a little love tap with his cruiser, sending the suspect flying and bringing the chase to an end.
