Anime Fan May Have Gone a Little Overboard with the Cardboard Cutouts

I get it, some people really love anime. Some people love anime so much that they’ve made their entire careers doing something anime-adjacent, whether that’s working in animation or going to different conventions with flat-pressed hair and a big sword to take photos with people who want to bang their favorite, definitely-of-legal-age character. This guy, however, may have taken it a step too far.

This user makes cardboard cutouts of anime characters — not my thing, but all good enough so far. However, when they’re done, he sets them up as if they are a legion of loyal followers, standing before him as though they’re getting ready to take orders. He also films this to create content that’s truly unsettling (at least turn the lights up a bit, geez!)
