A New Zealand Food Bank Accidentally Gave Out Meth Candy
Braden Bjella Published 08/15/2024
You’re not supposed to do that, I think.
This New Zealand food bank works just like any other. People donate food, they check the food to make sure it’s in good condition, then they hand the food out to those in need. Easy enough, right?
Wrong. Sometimes, you get food that’s been contaminated — and sometimes, you accidentally hand out meth to a bunch of kids.
The latter is what happened recently, where the food bank has had to apologize after it unknowingly handed out candies that it had received as part of a donation, candies that also happened to have meth in them.
Couldn’t they have picked a more fun drug?
