Three men attempted to rob a bookie in Ireland, armed with a hammer and a sawed-off shotgun. Denis O'Connor, an 85 year-old great-grandfather, was threatened by the men but retaliated. He appeared not to be too shaken by the ordeal and played golf the next morning.
