28 Horror Stories That Prove Not All Doctors Can Be Trusted

A few days ago, emergency room doctor Sam Ghali tweeted a very simple prompt: “Annoy an ER doc in one Tweet.”


It’s hard to say what motivated Ghali to post the since-deleted tweet, but when other ER doctors took the opportunity to vent about their patients, the non-MDs of Twitter clapped right back by sharing their worst ER horror stories. “This MedTwitter trend is going expectedly awful,” @SarahLerner tweeted while sharing a few sample screenshots from each side.


A staggering number of responses could only be described as medical malpractice, and most highlighted the exact dismissive attitude so many doctors were openly describing in the thread themselves.
