Back when irony wasn’t considered a personality trait, people just weren't cool. In the '90s, trying too hard was worse than not trying at all, and that really made for questionable choices like oversized glasses, awkward pics and terrible fashion that matched the decade.

Every photo from that era could serve as a small rebellion against all things proper and polished. Everybody had that realization at least once, when looking through a magazine and going “wow, maybe I am uncool”.

But to be honest, the world hadn’t yet decided what cool really meant so everyone was figuring out and checking what felt right. That awkward confidence is what gives us these uncool moments that we all went through and want to forget.
