The ocean is vast and beautiful, but it can also be a dangerous place. There are several animals floating around that can absolutely ruin your day if you have a run-in with them. One of the more common ones is jellyfish - getting stung by one is extremely painful and, depending on the species, can potentially even be fatal.
If you DO get stung by a jellyfish, a common misconception is that the best cure is to pee on it. This is actually NOT true (you should actually rinse with vinegar or, for certain jellyfish, baking soda) but that doesn't mean people don't still try it anyway.
