There's something about flying that just brings out the worst in people. Be it impatience, entitlement or just plain incompetence, going through an entire flight without witnessing a breakdown is rare.

But with so many flight freakouts caught on video these days, we thought it might be fun to highlight our favorites, as inspired by a tweet from @StockMarketDrip. From the "not real" woman to the "Instagram model," here are our starting 11 airplane freakout all-stars.

2. "That M- F-er Is Not Real"

On an American Airlines flight in July, this woman infamously demanded to be let off the plane, because she believed the person next to her was "not real." After the incident went viral, she appeared to drop off the map, sparking conspiracy theories regarding her identity and what she saw. Eventually she was uncovered as Dallas marketing executive Tiffany Gomas, however we're still waiting to hear exactly what she saw.

3. "Film Me, I'm Instagram Famous"

While it's unclear what the Instagram model Morgan Osman did to get herself removed from a recent flight, her departing outburst was crystal. Getting the last word in, she encouraged the man taping her outburst; "Film me, I'm Instagram famous." She later took to social media to proclaim that she chose to leave the flight herself, so that things wouldn't "[turn] violent."

4. "I Want to Shake His Hand"

This man on a flight from Moscow to New York was arrested after demanding to shake another passenger's hand... aggressively. While it's unclear what started the drama, seeing a man use a handshake proposal as an apparent insult is certainly unique. Eventually a man who appeared to be the plane's pilot had to step in and deny the handshake.

5. Guy Tries to Open Emergency Door

Passengers on a Ryan Air flight from Croatia to Glasgow had to help subdue a passenger, who tried to open the emergency exit door after becoming convinced that the airplane was doomed. On their way back from the Hideout music festival, it's likely substances were in play here.

6. The Burger King Man

This racist passenger gave and got on a Jet Blue flight from Jamaica to New York. Claiming that another passenger had "kneed me in the stomach," he proceeded to hurl the N-word left and right, and state that he was "part west-African." Somehow that seems doubtful. The clip ends with him throwing water on a flight attendant, and leaving the plane in handcuffs. Typical Burger King customer.

7. Broken-Up With Mid-Flight

Is there a worse place to break up with somebody than sitting next to them on a plane? The answer is no, but that's what one boyfriend decided to do anyway. Fortunately occurring before takeoff, his now ex-girlfriend's subsequent emotional breakdown was bad enough to result in her removal from the flight. What a brutal way to dump somebody.

8. Voted Off the Plane

It turns out democracy still works in some circumstances. After a woman started and participated in numerous arguments before takeoff, a different passenger decided to put her fate up to the rest of the plane. "I've got like 40 hands in the air," he said to a flight attendant. Per popular demand, she was soon off the flight.

9. AA Passenger Dragged Off Plane after Staff Refuse Him an Alcoholic Drink Pre-Flight

This American Airlines passenger was kicked off his flight out of first class, after allegedly throwing a fit over being denied a drink. While we'll never know the whole story, first class passengers are apparently entitled to a drink pre-flight. Was his tantrum bad enough to warrant the punishment? Who knows, but his reaction to security is priceless.

10. The Mile High Club

These passengers on an EasyJet flight from Luton, Engand to Ibiza shamelessly decided to join the mile high club, even after being outed to the whole plane by a flight attendant. Unfortunately, they waited just a little too soon to start their vacation off with a bang, and were met in Ibiza by law enforcement.

11. Singing Christians

On an EasyJet flight, a few members of the Kingdom Realm Ministries group decided to perform Christian songs in front of a truly captive audience. While some passengers seemed to enjoy the in flight entertainment, others were significantly less enthused. Who would have thought Christians would be responsible for a flight from H**l?

12. Plane Forced to Make Two Emergency Landings After Fighting Passengers Break Window

This Alliance Airlines flight from Cairns Queensland to Groote Eylandt Australia was forced to make two separate emergency landings, after passengers couldn't stop fighting. One even broke an airplane window while brandishing a broken glass bottle. Four separate people were charged between the two flights.
