The Often Overlooked Struggles of Being Overweight
This story was collected for Ask Reddit and is worth a further read if you have the time.

Ask Reddit is like the town square of the internet. It's a place for people to get together and have honest and unfiltered conversations about what our lives are really like. And sometimes the topics can get a little real. Like this thread, where people share their experience of living life as a 'fat person.'

If you know, you know. And sure, you're thinking, well I don't treat people like this, I don't judge them by their pants size. Do you? Because if you do, then you are the scum of the Earth. It's a good reminder for many of us of what life is like for people who struggle with their weight.

We can all relate to this one in some form or another. Maybe we're having a bad hair day, maybe we packed on a few beer pounds. Or maybe were just not feeling our best selves.
7.
This one hit home. If you treat people based on how they look then you need some serious help. It's not cool to judge people, especially for their weight.

This is a theme that keeps coming up and we're shocked that so many people feel this way. It must be hard loving yourself when people don't treat you with the same respect they treat others. Just heartbreaking.
