With his Fender Telecaster, Haggard revolutionized the what people thought country music could sound like, even winning over hardcore Southerners with his California sound. The singer/songwriter passed away on April 6, 2016, of complications due to pneumonia.

David Bowie - The entire world seemed to stop for an entire week once this musical icon passed away. Bowie influenced countless musicians and artist with his ever-changing musical style and appearance. Very few artist can sustain a fifty-year career the way Bowie did and still stay relevant to youth and adults alike. Bowie passed away on January 10, 2016, of liver cancer.

Over his insanely successful career, Martin had 30 number one hits in the UK and 23 in the US. Martin passed away on March 8, 2016. The cause of death is unknown, however, he did live a long life, passing away at age 90.

The WWF superstar changed the way women are seen in a male-dominated sport, as a founding member of D-Generation X and also by defeating many of her male counterparts. Chyna passed away on April 20, 2016, her death is still officially unknown, however, it is said she was using heavy medication for anxiety and depression.

Known for his serious roles and unique voice, Rickman was always a delight to watch on screen. Rickman passed away January 14, 2016, of pancreatic cancer.

Prince was a mega-star in the 80s, with his album and film PURPLE RAIN ranking as one of the best musical films of all time. He had multiple collaborations with big name artist that were just happy to be sharing the stage with such a legend. Prince passed on April 21, 2016. The cause of death is yet to be released.

Shandling passed away on March 25, 2016, of a massive heart-attack.
