Red-Hot Photos of Forges and Factories
Blacksmithing taken to the extreme.
Published 8 months ago
The giant steel beams of skyscrapers and gargantuan gears inside of our construction equipment have to be forged somewhere.
Steel factories and metal workers are blacksmiths of epic proportions. Hydraulic forging manipulators are heated to blazing hot degrees to shape metal parts, molten steel is poured out of ladles like soup, and the teeth of gears are etched into iron while its red-hot and moldable like clay.
Here’s a bunch of insanely dangerous work being done with metal as hot as lava.
