Four Dead After Violent Day on Capitol Hill
1.
This is what zero p***y does to a mf. Here we see a few Trump loyalists in their branded MAGA civil war gear, waiting for the President to speak at yesterday's 'Stop the Steal' insurrection. What started out as a day of cope, ended much the same. It is hard to claim to be the party of 'law and order' when your base is comprised of people like this.
2.
After the president's speech, he urged his crowd to march down to the capitol and to 'show strength' for a Congress which was in the process of objecting to the election certification.
3.
The insurrectionists were met by police, but not nearly enough to keep them back from breaching the walls of the capitol.
6.
Let's be honest for a minute. While the mob was able to breach the capital, they did not do it without help. Minimal police and zero national guardsmen were in place for the planned 'wild protest'. Video of police opening gates for the insurrectionists and taking selfies with them once inside the building show this was not a truly earned victory. These people were let in, and walked out the same way.
7.
Because when you do shit like this, everyone at home knows if things were switched around, yesterday never would have happened.
9.
You'd think if there were ever a time to wear a face-covering it would be when you storm the capitol building, no? Covid or not, going maskless during your insurrection is a great way to secure a steady room and board in federal prison.
10.
Once inside, the mob was too big for the police. And for nearly four hours they had free reign to the capital building. Would be a shame if some secret agents were able to hide in the crowd. A used Carhart vest and some sleep deprivation are all you'd need to fit in.
12.
The insurrectionists didn't really know what to do once they got inside. So they walked around and took selfies! Broke some chairs, set of some fire-extinguishers, and found some offices to smoke a blunt in.
14.
His name is Jacob Chansley, and he is a staunch Qanon supporter from Arizona. He was falsely accused of being Antifa because a picture of him appeared on a Philadelphia affiliated Antifa page. However, he does have ties to one political party.
18.
The Senate floor was taken over. This person can be seen raising their fists from the Vice President's desk.
19.
Senators were quickly rushed from the floor of the Senate when the mob had first entered the building. Gas masks were given to all members of the hall in case of biological attacks. Here some staffers can be seen hiding in the top balcony of the Senate while insurrectionists face down officers bellow.
22.
What's the deal with these people wearing Trump flags as capes? It's like when a child doesn't want to take off his Halloween costume, or maybe you think it's like some security blanket?
24.
In the rushed frenzy, many House members left their offices unlocked when they were taken to safety. Here are some pictures of people who made it inside Nacy Pelosi's office. A feat that will surely land all these people in prison. Buy this guy sitting at her desk is the stereotype of everything that is wrong with America.
27.
Pelosi's OPENED computer. We can't imagine this is going to be over anytime soon. Imagine thinking the security of the US Senate is something worth compromising to support Donald Trump.
29.
Here we see the mob has torn down Pelosi's office plack, displaying its broken pieces proudly. But if you look in the background you'll see someone with a 'Camp Aushuwitz' sweatshirt. Very fine people in deed. It was probably happening around the time Trump posted a video of Twitter, which was later deleted where he said he "loved these people".
30.
Another moment from yesterday was this happy dude walking away with Nacy Pelosi's podium. Not sure this is something you can sell on Facebook market place. Though we're sure he didn't leave with it, posing for this pic really did get his face out there.
33.
In total four people died during the Trump insurrection. One woman a 14-year veteran of the Air force, Ashli Babbit, was shot in the chest by Capitol police when she broke a window and tried jumping through a police barricade. The other three deaths were said to be "medical emergencies". There were reports another woman suffered from being squished during the attack and that a medical kit containing an iv was used on her. In total the death toll was equal to that of Benghazi, though you'll never hear mention of that from the President.
34.
In addition, two IEDs were found and detonated by authorities. One was found near the RNC building and the other near the Capitol building.
37.
Let's not pretend we haven't all seen this coming. And please for the sake of the collective good, please don't be silent if you were proud of yesterday's events. We need to know who among us still thinks doing this kind of shit, is what being an American is all about.
38.
The irony of it all is Trump's insurrection is a day late and a dollar short. Yesterday it was announced that both Jon Ossof and Raphael Warnock won their races for Senate, giving Democrats control of all three branches of power. There is nothing a little insurrection can to do stop Republicans from losing power. And while we reflect on the current state of affairs, might I point your attention to this map, where we have a BIG AND BEAUTIFUL picture of a BLUE Goergia. BLUE GEORGIA! So maybe insurrection is the only hope Republicans have, because looking at this map, it's doubtful Republicans ever gain majority control again.
