How to Get Rid of Guests Who've Overstayed Their Welcome

We've all been there - you invite a friend or two over to hang out and it's a great time but it's been a few hours now and you'd like to get on with your life. Now begins the dance of delicately hinting that it's time for them to head out and hoping that they get the hint and leave before you have to actually tell them to GTFO.

There are a lot of different ways to go about doing this, and a lot of it also depends on where you're from and what your relationship with that particular person is like. It could be as easy as telling them to f**k off, or as elaborate as a whole routine of hints and messages that you both understand as having more than one meaning.
