No, There is Not an Alien Spaceship Orbiting the Sun
1.
An article published in the tabloid, Express.co.uk, this past Friday, June 24th, claimed that a black cube was seen circling the sun. The article claimed the data was compiled from NASA date, (which it was), but their claim that the cube had been entering and exiting the sun, seemingly absorbing it's energy, is so far out in right fields that we should have to debunk it.
2.
But alas, here we are. The images in question are thanks to the "Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO), a spacecraft developed by NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA) that has been taking breathtaking images of the Sun since its launch in 1995." According to Bernhard Fleck, a SOHO scientist and "mission manager", the black cubes are “ due to a missing (corrupted) telemetry block,” and so the cube are not actually there, in space, but are products of the massive amount of data it takes to compile these photos. They're really, really, amazing pictures, juts not exactly perfect renders.

Conspiracies about 'black alien cube ships' have been popular since at least 2011, if not earlier. And over the years the theory pops back up every so often, sometimes with a red sun, sometimes with a blue sun and in 2016 it was a yellow sun. All the same basic assumption, that the black box is a spaceship and not 'glitch'.
5.
And the same image, but with a better rendering. If you look close to where the black cube was on the other image, you'll see a faint yellow cube in its place. It's not alines, nor it is a great conspiracy, it's just a glitch.
