Manager Demands to Use Worse System, Chaos Ensues

In this latest edition of a bad manager causing trouble, this new manager decides he knows how to run the delivery company branch better than the employee who has been doing it solo for years. As is the case with power tripping managers, this one thinks he knows best despite being straight out of university, relying only on that ever outdated business degree.
In this case he decides that things must be done by the book no matter what, despite many warnings from his experienced employee who has never had an issue themselves. The result is malicious compliance that causes chaos up and down the deliveries for the day, and our bossy manager is stuck dealing with the repercussions of his own stubbornness. In an uncommon twist however, at least this one learns from his actions, and takes accountability and defers to his experienced employee to help him learn and manage the delivery branch.
