Man Finds Incredibly Rare Ty Cobb Baseball Cards in Great-Grandfather's House

A man cleaning out his great-grandfather's house this week, found 7 Ty Cobb baseball cards in an old paper bag.

He took the cards to a collecting shop in South Carolina where the authenticity of the cards were confirmed.

Joe Orland, President of Professional Sports Authenticator in Newport Beach, California said that the find was, "miracoulous" and that it was "one of the greatest discoveries in the history of our hobby".

The cards range from 3.5 to 4.5 on a scale to 10, 10 being mint, which is not too bad for a one-hundred-year old cards. They are estimated to be worth well into the seven figure range.
