Karen Asks to Speak to Manager, Gets Answered by Higher Authority Instead
damn_nation_inc Published 05/16/2020
The term 'Karen' has risen in popularity in recent years thanks to crazy videos, funny memes, and in general, people behaving badly. Entitlement and people acting like spoiled brats is nothing new, however. For pretty much all of recorded history (and I'm sure even before that) people have felt they deserve special treatment or something for nothing.
Karen's lovemaking themself the center of attention, even if that means forcing an entire room of people to boo and yell at you. It only makes them stronger.
What is it with all these Karens and wanting to speak to managers? I personally have never had the urge to belittle some minimum wage employee who's just trying to do his job, but I guess it's an entitlement thing that I (fortunately) don't have.
The best thing is when a rude Karen gets put in her place and then has to slink away in shame, which is precisely what happened here.
