"Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it." It's one of my favorite quotes, and applies to many more situations than you might think. Any time you want something in life, whether it's trivial or something you put time and effort into working towards, it's important to consider what might actually happen if you get it. In this case, this woman insists on using her coupons no matter what. So she does.
Unfortunately understanding math is important when buying things, and this Karen has a tough time understanding that 30% off from a sale is a better deal than 20% from a coupon. It's just a shame that the workers have to be the ones to explain it. Perhaps relying on coupons to go shopping blindly isn't the best strategy.
