The bouquet toss is a time-honored tradition at weddings - for those who don't know about it (possibly in non-Christian parts of the world), it's when the bride turns around and tosses her bridal bouquet to a crowd of bridesmaids and other female guests standing behind her. Supposedly, the person who catches it will be the next to get married.

Generally speaking the bouquet toss is just a fun little ceremony to add extra color to the wedding, but some people - perhaps desperate to kickstart their own matrimonial bliss - take it VERY seriously and go all-out trying to catch it.
