After a corporate takeover forced out a programmer along with all the rest of his fellow employees, he got back at them by not disclosing that a key bit of software used at the factory was actually 100% his intellectual property that he was allowing his former employer to use. The suits failed to do due diligence and just assumed their acquisition came with everything they saw. Talk about an expensive mistake!
